Outdoor Kitchen

Drew and I are planning to start our outdoor kitchen adventure within the next month. The grill has been ordered and we are hoping to order the pergola kit and stones by the end of next week. The picture below is similar to the layout that we are going to have. I am not a fan of the stone they used – I want to do much smaller stacked stones. Budget permitting, we are also going to have a fireplace and seating area to the left of the kitchen. 

I like the stonework in the picture below much better than the picture above. I would like more gray tones mixed in with the neutral stones though.
