Catherine & Lee Lewis

Sunday evening I drove down to he river and met Catherine and Lee to take maternity pictures. Fortunately it was nice and cool out but a little too breezy! Catherine is expecting to deliver in a week! This is the first child for this fun loving couple. Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

Atlanta for the Weekend

This weekend we went to Atlanta for a brief getaway for our anniversary, although our trip to Costa  Rica was our real anniversary celebration, I figured a couple days away from the house wouldn't be too bad. Of course Drew would probably disagree after working a month of 12 hours shifts and Saturday being opening day of gun season! Tuesday will be our actual 2 year anniversary and I cannot believe how fast it has gone by and how truly amazing these past 2 years have been!

We left Friday morning and went through Macon on our way to Atlanta. We stopped by Bass Pro Shop in Macon and Tanger Outlets in Locust Grove. I got a few sweaters for winter and Drew got himself a pair of 'city' shoes which are pictured below. Note: this is a big deal because in the 6 years I've never seem him in anything but boots and the occasional flip flops. We went to the world of Coca Cola on Friday as well and I must admit it was a bust (to me at least) but then again I'm not a big fan of crowds.

Outside of the world of Coca Cola.

We ate dinner at a restaurant near the hotel called Piola. They specialized in authentic Italian pizza and was pretty dang delicious but way too much food!

On Saturday we tracked down an IHOP and had breakfast before heading to Six Flags. Both Drew and I haven't been to Six Flags since high school so we were both pretty excited about going. We purchased the Flash Pass which pretty much all but eliminated waiting in line to ride the roller coasters and we both agree it was well worth money. The only problem with the Flash Pass is that since we didn't really have any 'recovery time' between rides we were on the verge of being severely sick after the 5th or 6th ride! Oh how times have changed!

We left Six Flags and went to Lenox Mall to do a little shopping. Drew and I were both unaware that people however do not shop at Lenox Mall anymore. Apparently the goal at Lenox is to just walk around, buy nothing and do your very best to get in my way! We were both missing our small town life at this point (and out dogs of course!).
Six Flags!

Drew's "city" shoes..

All in all it was a fun trip but city living is definitely no lifestyle for the two of us! :)

Baby Brigham!

On Sunday I was fortunate enough to get to spend some time with baby Brigham and his parents. He is such a sweet boy and was a real trooper during his pictures! I visited Brigham at the hospital the day after he was born and in the week between that time and the time until we coordinated to take the pictures he had changed so much already! Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

Such a good looking little fella!

Fast Food Smörgåsbord

Drew and I have discussed in the past how great (and sickening)  it would be if we drove around to all of the different fast food restaurants and got 1 menu item from each and compiled a gloriously fatty meal to end all meals. So tonight, while Drew ate Popeye's and I had a bowl of cereal, I decided to make out the list of our fast food desires. I googled 'top 10 fast food restaurants in US' and here were the results (ranking based on number of establishments):

1) Subway, 2) McDonald's,  3) Starbucks, 4) Pizza Hut, 5) Burger King, 6) Dunkin' Donuts, 7) Wendy's, 8) Dairy Queen, 9) Taco Bell, 10) Sonic.

Here is Drew's List:

 Here is my list:
I would also like to add a cinnamon roll from Cinnabon and orange chicken from the Chinese place in the Augusta Mall. :)

What would you pick??

Reagan-Roo has the flu!

Well, not really the flu but nothing else rhymes with Roo! But sweet baby is sick...
Friday evening I started noticing that Reagan was acting peculiar but I just chalked it up to her being overly tired from being out in the woods most of the day. Saturday morning she was feeling even worse; just lying around and sticking close to my side. Sunday morning she was having a hard time getting up and down and stopped eating and drinking all together. I loaded her in the car a little after 9 and headed to St. Francis Animal Hospital in Augusta. Little did I know I was going to be there for almost 5 hours and end up spending $473! I was very impressed with their facility and the fact that they are open 24 hours (might switch them to this vet permanently). After running a few tests and taking xrays they diagnosed her with having pancreatitis, a herniated disc and severe constipation (lovely!). They gave her fluids and medication through an IV and a good ol' fashion enema and sent me home with some additional antibiotics and steroids for her. As of this morning I could really tell that she was starting to feel a lot better, hopefully she will have a full recovery very soon!
Pouting that I tricked her into going to the vet!
This is going to be horrible! Maybe if I lay really still that won't see me!

Kackleberry Farms

This morning I met Kim and Parker at Kackleberry Farm. This was my first trip to Kackleberry Farm, but Parker and Kim were seasoned professionals. Parker was still a little too young for some of the attractions but by the time we left we were all covered in sweat! I was disappointed in the pumpkin patch though I was thinking they grew their own pumpkins and had a huge field full of them (which would have worked out for some awesome picture moments!) but it was just an over grown field with a few pumpkins they purchased and placed around. Here are some of the highlights and a few of Parker's favorite attractions!
Getting excited about the bunnies!

Tetherball was a hit! (literally).

Tractor seesaw!
Jumping on the giant air-filled pillow!

I think this was his favorite activity.

Drew-Baby turns 27!

This past Sunday was Drew's 27th birthday! It wasn't an exceptionally special day unfortunately because he had to work! We had pizza and piggy-sticks for dinner and then opened presents! Plus our fall shows were starting so we got some quality laying-around-being lazy-over eating-time in.. and it was glorious!

Dinner celebration for 2!

Opening his bday presents!
