Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding

Drew and I had a relatively slow weekend and we were able to get a lot accomplished around the house. I even got to try a couple new recipes over the weekend, one of which being Paula Deen's 'Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding!' I have always liked banana pudding, but I LOVED this recipe! Drew and I have been working on finishing it off for the past few days and I may have even had some for breakfast this morning too!

Ingredients:
2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
6 to 8 bananas, sliced
2 cups of whole milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant Vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions:
Line the bottom of dish with crushed cookies and layer sliced bananas on top.
Crushed cookie base - starting the banana layer.

In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the first layer of cookies and bananas.

Starting to add the bananas on the 2nd layer.
Repeat the layers until dish is full. Top with remaining cookies (I crushed them again). Refrigerate until ready to serve. ---AMAZING!

This recipe required a little more work than a traditional banana pudding recipe but it was WELL worth it. I will definitely make this again, and again...
